PWS is governed by a seven-member Governing Body elected by the General Body every three years. The Governing Body comprises a President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer, and three Executive Members.
The Society holds regular meetings, maintains audited financial records, and files annual returns with the Registrar of Firms and Societies, Punjab, as required under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
We maintain publicly accessible records including our registration certificate, PAN, DARPAN registration, and financial statements. We are in the process of obtaining 12A and 80G tax exemption certificates under the Income Tax Act.
